HHF Media Group, Inc. ("we," "our," or "us") operates the HHF Social mobile application (the "App"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our App. Please read this policy carefully. By using HHF Social, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.

1. Information We Collect

a) Information You Provide Directly

When you create an account and use HHF Social, we collect the following information that you voluntarily provide:

  • Account Information: Email address, password, username, full name, and date of birth.
  • Profile Information: Profile picture, biography text, and website URL.
  • User Content: Photos, videos, captions, and comments that you post on the platform.
  • Messages: Text messages and images sent through the direct messaging feature.
  • Reports: Content and details you include when you report a user or message.

b) Information Collected Automatically

When you use the App, certain information may be collected automatically:

  • Usage Data: Interaction data such as likes, follows, and notification activity.
  • Device Information: Device type, operating system version, and unique device identifiers as provided by Firebase services.
  • Log Data: Error logs and diagnostic information to help us improve app stability and performance.

c) Information from Device Permissions

With your explicit consent, the App may access the following device features:

  • Camera: To take photos and videos for posts and profile pictures.
  • Photo Library: To select existing photos and videos for posts, profile pictures, and chat messages.
  • Microphone: To record audio when capturing videos.

Note: You can revoke these permissions at any time through your device's Settings. The App will continue to function but certain features (such as uploading photos) will be unavailable.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect for the following purposes:

  • Provide and Maintain the Service: To create and manage your account, display your profile, and enable core social features including posting, commenting, liking, following, and direct messaging.
  • Communication: To send you in-app notifications about likes, comments, follows, and messages from other users.
  • Account Security: To verify your email address, facilitate password resets, and authenticate your identity.
  • Search and Discovery: To allow other users to find your profile by username.
  • Safety and Moderation: To process user reports, enforce our community guidelines, and enable blocking functionality.
  • Improvement: To analyze error logs and usage patterns to improve app performance and user experience.

3. How We Store Your Information

Your data is stored using the following third-party services provided by Google:

  • Firebase Authentication: Securely manages your email, password, and login credentials.
  • Cloud Firestore: Stores your profile data, posts, comments, messages, notifications, follow relationships, and block lists.
  • Firebase Cloud Storage: Stores your uploaded media including profile pictures, post images, post videos, video thumbnails, and chat images.

4. How We Share Your Information

a) Publicly Visible Information

The following information is visible to other users of the App:

  • Your username, full name, profile picture, bio, and website.
  • Your posts (including images, videos, and captions), comments, and like activity.
  • Your follower and following counts.

b) Private Information

The following information is not publicly shared:

  • Your email address, password, and date of birth.
  • Your direct messages (visible only to the participants of the conversation).
  • Your block list.

c) Third-Party Service Providers

We use Google Firebase as our backend infrastructure provider. Google processes data on our behalf in accordance with their data processing terms. We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to any third party.

d) Legal Requirements

We may disclose your information if required to do so by law or in response to valid legal requests by public authorities (e.g., a court order or government agency).

5. Data Retention

We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active. When you delete your account, we permanently remove the following data:

  • Your user profile and all associated profile data.
  • All posts, comments, and likes you have created.
  • All direct messages and chat conversations you are a participant in.
  • All uploaded media (profile pictures, post images, post videos, and chat images).
  • All notifications associated with your account.
  • All follower and following relationships.
  • Your block list.
  • Your username reservation.
  • Your Firebase Authentication account.

Account Deletion: You may delete your account at any time from within the App's Settings page. Account deletion is permanent and irreversible. All of your data will be permanently erased from our servers.

6. Your Rights and Choices

You have the following rights regarding your personal data:

  • Access: You can view all of your personal information within the App (profile, posts, messages).
  • Correction: You can edit your profile information (name, username, bio, website, profile picture) at any time.
  • Deletion: You can permanently delete your account and all associated data at any time.
  • Blocking: You can block other users to prevent them from viewing your profile or contacting you.
  • Reporting: You can report users or messages that violate our community guidelines.
  • Permissions: You can revoke camera, photo library, and microphone permissions at any time through your device settings.

7. Children's Privacy

HHF Social is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 years of age. The App collects date of birth during registration to verify user age. If we become aware that we have collected personal data from a child under 13, we will take steps to delete that information promptly. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us.

8. Security

We take the security of your data seriously. We implement the following measures:

  • All data transmissions are encrypted using TLS/SSL.
  • Passwords are securely managed through Firebase Authentication and are never stored in plain text.
  • Email verification is required before account access is granted.
  • Re-authentication is required before destructive account operations (such as account deletion).

While we strive to protect your personal information, no method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. International Data Transfers

Your information may be transferred to and processed on servers located outside your country of residence. Firebase services may store data in data centers globally. By using the App, you consent to such transfers.

10. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by updating the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page. You are advised to review this Privacy Policy periodically for any changes. Continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised policy.
